Astle demolish England
WELLINGTON: Nathan Astle had almost grabbed a hat-trick following his sensational third over that gave him two wickets on successive deliveries, besides the wicket of Paul Collingwood that he took in his first over to lift New Zealand to a massive 155-run win over England on Saturday giving his side a confident 2-0 lead in the five-match one-day series.
Chasing a victory target of 245, last three English wickets tumbled for the addition of just 24 runs as the whole team was bundled out for 89 runs.

McMillan sparkles for New Zealand
WELLINGTON: Craig McMillan struck a polished 69 off 91 balls as New Zealand recovered from a disastrous start to post 244 for the loss of eight wickets in their stipulated 50 overs in the second one-dayer against England here on Saturday.
New Zealand, asked to bat in the day-night international, were reduced to 52-3, before McMillan led a brilliant rescue act to frustrate the English bowlers. McMillan raced to his fifty off just 76 deliveries and stuck only one boundary.
He put on 84 for the fifth wicket with Lou Vincent (36) and a
blistering 58 for the fourth with skipper Stephen Fleming (40).
Andre Adams was given a life when he was dropped by Matthew Hoggard off Darren Gough in the 48th over. He remained unbeaten on 25.
Gough captured three wickets conceding 47 runs off his quota of 10 overs followed by Hoggard's figure of 2 for 36. Craig White grabbed two wickets for 53. Andrew Flintoff took one wicket for 53.

England decide to field first
WELLINGTON: England captain Nasser Hussain won the toss for the second time and decided to field first in the second One-day International of five-match series here on Saturday.
England made two changes from the squad that crushed the home side at Christchurch last Wednesday.
Owais Shah and Matthew Hoggard replaced wicketkeeper James Foster and Andrew Caddick whereas New Zealand rested Ian Butler who made his debut in the first match by bringing in Brendon McCullum
New Zealand all-rounder Chris Harris is playing his 200th one-day international against England.
