India's strike back as Sehwag blasts Eng
COLOMBO: Virender Sehwag blasted a century off just 77 balls as India struck back with explosive batting from the openers here at R.Premadasa Stadium in the Eleventh match of the 12-nation ICC Champions Trophy against England.
Chasing 270 runs to win the match, the Indian started off well and collected runs at will by hitting the ball to all parts of the ground.
At the conclusion of the first 25 overs, India have scored 169 runs for the loss of no wicket. They still require 101 runs in 25 more overs at an asking rate of 4.04 runs per over to win the match but with Sehwag (111 not out off 90 balls) and Ganguly (47 not out off 63 balls) still batting well, the target seems reachable.
