SL post 244-5 against India
COLOMBO: Sri Lanka post 244 runs for the loss of five wickets in the final match of the 12-nation ICC Champions Trophy against India here at R.Premadasa Stadium on Sunday.
Sri Lankan managed Sanath Jayasuriya top-scorer (74 runs off 89 balls), Kumara Sangakkara (54 runs off 89 balls), Marvan Atapattu (34 runs off 46 balls), Aravinda de Silva (18 runs off 25 balls), Russell Arnold (18 runs off 18 balls), Mahela Jayawardene (13 runs off 20 balls), Chaminda Vaas (11 runs off 13 balls).
For India bowled and fielded pretty well today and apart from Harbhajan Singh took three wickets for 27 while Ajit Agarkar, and Sachin Tendulkar took one wickets each.
India now require 245 runs to win the match in fifty overs at an asking rate of 4.90 runs per over.

SL decide to bat first after winning toss
COLOMBO: Sri Lankan captain Sanath Jayasuriya won the toss and decided to bat first in the final match of the 12-nation ICC Champions Trophy against India here at R.Premadasa Stadium on Sunday.
