Pakistan to play two warm-up games before World Cup

KARACHI: The 1999 runners-up Pakistan will play two warm-up games in the lead- up to 2003 ICC Cricket World Cup being held jointly in South Africa, Kenya and Zimbabwe from February 8 to March 23.

According to information available here Tuesday from ICC, all the 12 participating teams will be provided opportunity to play two practice games. These matches will be played against Senior Provincial XI and will be organized between February 4 to 6 at various centres of South Africa. Pakistan will face Senior Provincial XI (SP XI) at 
Lenasia, Johannesburg on February 4 and later they will take on SP XI at Willowmoore Park, Benoni on February 6.

Pakistan will take on Australia in their opening match at Wanderers Ground Johannesburg on February 11. Following is the schedule of warm-up games.
