SA name squad for second Test

JOHANNESBURG: South Africa named its cricket squad Monday to face the touring Sri Lankan team in the second Test here at the Supersport Park in Centurion, starting Friday. South Africa won the first Test by an innings and 64 runs. 

Star local batsman Herschelle Gibbs, who injured his back practising before the first Test at the Wanderers last Friday, will undergo a fitness test at Supersport Park on Wednesday afternoon: 

Team: Shaun Pollock (capt), Mark Boucher (v-capt, wkt), Steve Elworthy, Herschelle Gibbs, Andrew Hall, Claude Henderson, Jacques Kallis, Gary Kirsten, Neil McKenzie, Makhaya Ntini, Ashwell Prince, Graeme Smith, Martin van Jaarsveld. Coach: Eric Simons
