Pakistan cricketers show sympathy towards Bali bomb victims

SHARJAH: Pakistan cricket team manager, Brigadier Khawaja Mohammed Nasir Saturday said Pakistani people and cricket team share the grief of Bali bombing victims and had requested for a minute silence before the start of the third Test.

"Pakistan has always condemned terrorism in any kind or shape and we share the grief of the world in general and Australia in particular over the loss of human lives in Bali," Nasir said.

Both teams observed a minute silence before the start of the third Test and sported black arm bands. Pakistan and Australian flags flew at half mast at the Sharjah stadium to mourn the bombing that took place at a holiday resort in Bali in Indonesia last Saturday. Some 187 people, 100 from Australia, were killed in the bombing.
