Ijaz, Azhar pull out of trial match

KARACHI: Yousuf Youhana and Salim Elahi will replace Ijaz Ahmed and Azhar Mahmood for Friday's (tomorrow's) trial match to be played at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

Ijaz informed the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday that he was not fit for the match and needed some more time before he could take the field. Azhar is still under treatment for a shoulder injury.

The two players have been replaced by Youhana and Salim in the Greens team. The trial match is being staged to judge the fitness and form of some senior players who missed the Test series against Australia.
