Mudassar Nazar quits as coach of NCA

LAHORE: Former Pakistan opening batsman and coach Mudassar Nazar has stepped down as coach of the National Cricket Academy, it was learnt here on Sunday. 

According to PCB sources, the former Test opener met the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Lt Gen Tauqir Zia on Saturday and requested to be relieved from the assignment citing business commitments. The Chairman accepted his request and appreciated and thanked his commitment and sincerity to set up the Academy.
