Unbeaten SL meet Bangladesh
today
COLOMBO: Unbeaten Sri Lanka meet minnow Bangladesh in an Asia Cup
second round cricket match on Friday (today), but the hosts are
expected to be at their best to strengthen their claim for a berth
in the final.
Marvan Atapattu’s men have so far been ahead in the tournament. They
defeated defending champions Pakistan by a formidable seven wickets
in the second round match on Wednesday, after tasting success
against the United Arab Emirates and tournament favourites India in
the preliminary round.
However, a win against Bangladesh with bonus points would almost
ensure them a place in the final match on Aug.1.

Saleh, Javed Omar, Mohammad Ashraful, Alok Kapali, Mushfiqur Rahman,
Khaled Mahmud, Mohammad Rafique, Manjurul Islam Rana, Tapash Baisya,
