PCB to develop Karachi, Lahore stadiums: Rameez

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board plans to spend the money earned from the ongoing Pak-India cricket series on increasing capacity of cricket stadium at Lahore and Karachi.

"The money will be spent on improving existing infrastructure because these two stadiums need expansion to accommodate more spectators," Chief Executive Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Rameez Raja said here on Sunday.

The government is also helping the PCB to build new infrastructure and has allotted piece of lands at Peshawar and Islamabad to construct brand new stadiums. The stadium at both the places lack in facilities one way or the other, due to small dressing rooms and less capacity.
