series against WI
CALCUTTA: Indian left-arm fast bowler Zaheer Khan is
likely to miss the upcoming one-day series against the
West Indies due to a knee injury, a top cricket official
said here on Thursday. "He will probably miss the
entire one-day series against the West Indies,"
said Indian cricket board secretary S K Nair. The
24-year-old paceman was rested for the on-going third
and final Test against the tourists here due to the
injury. He has so far bagged 76 wickets in 49 One-day
Internationals.
National selectors included all-rounder Sanjay Bangar in

will play seven one-dayers after the Test series, with
the first starting at Jamshedpur on November 6. The team
for the last four one-dayers will be announced after the
third match at Rajkot on November 12. India left out
batsman Dinesh Mongia from the squad that shared the
Champions Trophy with Sri Lanka at Colombo last month.
